Project Goals
NUBA Apartments is one of two components of the proposal for the BPDA's Parcel 8 in Nubian Square, put forward in partnership by Urbanica and the NHP Foundation. NHP is responsible for NUBA Apartments, which will create 64 units of mixed-income rental housing, ranging from 30% to 120% of AMI. While the NHP Foundation does own and operate other residential buildings in Boston, it does not have an office in Boston and the project manager works in New York City. Urbanica is serving in a consultant role for this project and will be a local point of contact for many pre-development tasks, including design and permitting.
