Project Goals
Construction began on this project in the winter of 2019-2020. The project is located on the former Boston State Mental Hospital site in Mattapan and is part of a multi-phase development to create over 500 housing units. This development project includes the creation of 47 low-Income rental housing units. The project will involve five three-story buildings, built as three story flats with common stairs and hallways. The affordability mix will be 12 units at or below 30%AMI, 9 at or below 50%AMI, and 26 at or below 60% AMI. Five units will be set aside for homeless individuals per DND homeless policy.
