Vidya Tikku
Vidya currently works at the Trustees as the Director of Greater Boston and oversees their network of 56 community gardens in Boston and additional properties in Milton, Canton, Sharon, Easton, and Walpole.
Prior to her current position, Vidya worked as the vice president at Boston Natural Areas Network, as a program manager at the Neighborhood Parks Council in San Francisco and as a licensed architect in India.
She holds a Master's in Architecture & Urban Design from Washington University and a Certificate in Environmental Policy and International Development from Harvard Extension School.
Vidya is a current Board member at the MA Land Trust Coalition and has previously served as Board Chair at the New England Grassroots Environment Fund and as a Board member at the Northeast Organic Farming Association, MA chapter. She is fluent in English and Hindi, and is battling bunnies in her garden by growing Bhut Jolokia, Carolina Reapers, and some tomatoes.
