We are dedicated to ensuring women veterans receive benefits and services that honor their brave military service.
More and more women are wearing our nation’s uniforms and increasing their role in military operations. We want to ensure these veterans receive the services and benefits earned as they transition back to civilian life. You can learn more about available resources for women veterans below.

The Mayor's Office of Women's Advancement promotes gender equity in the City of Boston. Their team works to empower women and remove systemic barriers to their advancement.
The office's work includes:
- A first-in-the-nation approach to closing the gender pay gaps
- Reducing demand for sex-buying and trafficking
- Programming for women entrepreneurs
- Financial and technical support for the childcare workforce
- Research on childcare needs and preferences of working families
The call center provides women veterans information about VA services and resources, benefits, and eligibility. The toll-free line is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (EST).

The Women Veterans' Network is a program of the Department of Veterans' Services. The network is a central resource for women veterans across Massachusetts. As part of its outreach mission, the networks provides information on federal, state, and local benefits. The network's mission includes:
- expanding awareness of the needs of women veterans, and
- identifying available resources to meet those needs.
