Join us for a virtual panel discussion about MLK’s legacy with Boston's civic leaders.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lived a life dedicated to social justice, equity, service, and community. Under the leadership of Mayor Michelle Wu, the City recently announced two new offices committed to service: The Office of Civic Organizing and the Office of Black Male Advancement.
The Mayor’s Office of Civic Organizing is committed to collaborative partnerships and programs which encourage proactive community engagement, awareness, and service in our neighborhoods.
The Office of Black Male Advancement works to empower Black men and boys to ensure they have equitable access to opportunities in the City. As part of their work, they focus on policies, programs, resources, and local and national partnerships.
The Office of Civic Organizing and The Office of Black Male Advancement invites you to join a virtual panel discussion in honor of MLK’s legacy and to uplift the power of being civically engaged. This event will be a safe space to also discuss the ongoing work required to address social justice and equity in our city.
**This is a virtual discussion, a Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants prior to the event.**
