Looking for support getting connected to resources and navigating City services? Meet with the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement during our community office hours at the East Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library. 

Office hours will take place on the following days:

  • First Thursday of every month from 4 - 7 p.m. at the East Boston branch
  • Fourth Thursday of every month from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Copley branch

Registration is not required, and interpretation and disability accommodations will be available.

Do you need immigration advice from a lawyer? The Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement offers free immigration consultations on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 12 to 3 p.m.

To schedule an appointment with a volunteer lawyer, call 617-635-2980, fill out our contact form, or email immigrantadvancement@boston.gov. Interpretation and disability accommodations are available. Consultations are 15 minutes and limited to one-time only.

Consultations are currently by telephone. Due to high demand, you must schedule an appointment beforehand.
