To help, Boston’s Age Strong Commission will host free in-person cost-savings clinics to assist Boston’s older residents (age 55+) to help lower everyday expenses like fuel assistance, home repair, water/sewer discounts, property tax relief, SNAP, Senior Circuit Breaker Tax Credit, Medicare Savings Program and more.

Building a Black Church FOR ALL is a Black History Month community conversation event hosted by the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Roxbury Community College. This in-person event brings together affirming Black pastors and community partners to explore the intersection of Black identity, queerness, and spirituality, uplifting inclusive faith spaces and fostering connection and belonging within Boston’s Black LGBTQIA2S+ community.

The Museum of African American History and the Mayor’s Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement welcome teens to an afternoon of food, fun and entertainment.

Memory cafés meet at a variety of places, including coffeehouses, museums, or community organizations. Each memory café is different. Some cafés invite guest artists, some offer education about memory changes. And some are just for relaxing and chatting. But, all cafés share one goal — to help guests feel comfortable and to know that they are not alone. Cafés are a place to talk with others who understand what you are going through. You can forget about your limitations and instead focus on your strengths.

Mayor Michelle Wu, the City of Boston Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), and Project Citizenship are hosting the 12th annual Citizenship Day on May 2, 2026, at the Reggie Lewis State Track Athletic Center. The event is an opportunity for people who are eligible for naturalization to get free legal help with their citizenship application.
