• Participate in a workshop where you can design your dream Bike Town and discuss how we can make Boston more friendly for alternative transportation users

Located at the tennis courts in Almont Park in Mattapan, this two-hour drop-in event is for families and children under 12 who want to learn to ride and practice their riding skills. A variety of different sized bikes and helmets will be provided, and staff will be present to set up a temporary bike town, lead on-bike games and teach bike riding skills.

Let's celebrate Charlestown's rich history with strength, spirit and community! This FREE, high-energy, full-body workout is designed for ages 15 and up and welcomes all fitness levels.

Led by certified instructor and Charlestown resident Tracy Callahan, this upbeat session will combine cardio, strength, and functional training to get your body moving— whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fitness fan.

Wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle and a mat, and be ready to move!

Adaptive E-Bikes are specialized bicycles that meet the physical needs or abilities of the operator or a passenger who has a permanent disability. The virtual showcase in an opportunity to see and ask questions about adaptive e-bikes, as well as about Boston E-Bikes Incentive Program.

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Caribbean Heritage Month at Boston City Hall! The day will include a flag raising ceremony, Caribbean lunch, and our first-ever Caribbean Domino Tournament featuring teams from across the diaspora.

Who’s Playing:

• Teams representing Caribbean Consulates General (rosters finalized after May 30)

• Boston community members with cultural ties to participating countries, forming teams through local networks

What to Expect:

• Island music, light refreshments, and plenty of good-natured rivalry

• Spectators of all ages welcome—no registration required!

  • If you are affiliated with a Caribbean Consulate, contact your Consul General by May 30 to be placed on a team.

  • Community members can email bianca.rose@boston.gov with "Domino Tournament" in the subject line to join an open roster.

• Spectators: Free and open to all—come enjoy the energy!
