About
Overview
The OYEA Partner Network is a group of community partners and city agencies focused on advancing the lives of youth in Boston. This group meets bi-monthly to connect, network, share resources and opportunities, meet with City leaders, and discuss topics and issues facing the city’s young population.
Joining the OYEA Partner Network will also add you and your organization to our internal partner newsletter to receive direct updates on new initiatives, opportunities for collaboration, and priority invitations to events coming from our office and the larger network.
Network Goals
- Provide a consistent space to discuss trends and issues facing Boston’s youth
- Keep organizations informed and updated about current events happening in the community
- Create a platform for individuals to network and connect with others across the youth serving field
- Highlight and uplift organizations serving youth across Boston
- Share resources, services, and programs that are relevant to youth, families, and community organizations
- Serve as a direct link between community organizations and the City of Boston
- Reduce silos and work collaboratively to advance our common mission - Boston’s youth!

Meeting Schedule
Meeting ScheduleThis meeting marks the first OYEA Partner Network meeting, and will serve as an official introduction of the newly established Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement (OYEA) to the youth-serving community.
This meeting features 10+ City of Boston agencies presenting on available grant opportunities and resources relevant to youth serving organizations.
OYEA Partner Network will host two speakers from the Boston youth work community, with a mixer and opportunities for networking following.
This meeting will uplift and highlight the many fantastic community organizations that are a part of the OYEA Partner Network with a space to share their work, resources and services offered, details on ways to collaborate, and more.
This meeting will bring together the large scale youth job providers and funders in the city to share out on how their summer jobs process will work and how to get your organization and young people connected this summer.
This meeting will center around uplifting youth voices- hear directly from youth in Boston about their experiences, perspectives, and needs!
