New iOS Version of ParkBoston Launched

The City of Boston has launched the latest version of our ParkBoston app on the Apple Store (iOS), which allows you to pay for metered spaces across the City. This update will be coming soon to Android devices.

Cummins Highway Construction Update: April 2025

April 7, 2025 - April 11, 2025
  • Starting at Woodhaven Street, we began working on the area that will eventually include new curb, trees, green infrastructure, and the bike lane.

  • Starting at Wood Ave/Harvard, Weybosset, and Ridlon/Itasca, we began full-depth excavation. Sidewalks and vehicle access to side streets may be temporarily detoured during work hours, but will reopen by 3:30 pm. 

April 14, 2025 - April 18, 2025
  • Continue work on areas for green infrastructure and bike lane between Woodhaven Street to Itasca Street, block by block.
  • Finish full-depth excavation at Itasca, Greenfield, and other side streets between Itasca and Wood Ave/Harvard.
  • Start installing stormwater infrastructure east of the MBTA Bridge.
April 21, 2025 - April 25, 2025
  • Continue work on areas for green infrastructure and bike lane between Woodhaven Street to Itasca Street, block by block.
  • Start pouring concrete for new sidewalk from Annafran Street to Wood Avenue (south side of Cummins).
  • Start pouring concrete for new sidewalk from Woodhaven Street to Itasca Street (north side of Cummins).
  • Begin installing new traffic signal equipment at Harvard Avenue, Hebron Street, and Itasca Street.
  • Continue installing stormwater infrastructure east of the MBTA Bridge.
