New iOS Version of ParkBoston Launched

The City of Boston has launched the latest version of our ParkBoston app on the Apple Store (iOS), which allows you to pay for metered spaces across the City. This update will be coming soon to Android devices.

Our weekly photography clinic has weekly challenges to help you hone and improve your photography skills.

Theme:

Contrast

Goals:

Your goal this week is to take a picture where something stands out.

Tips:

  • Look for bright colors or humor - things that stick out and call for your attention. Snowy landscapes can be singular in color, gray, and lifeless.

    • Use color - search for animals that catch your eye. Or use a dark colored object in relation to the snow.

      • Pay attention to shadows - shadows on a sunny day snow will seem to be the opposite color of direct sunlight.

      Challenge:

      This week’s challenge is to show contrast in your photos and make something pop

      Submit your photo to be included in our digital photo gallery by emailing Parks@Boston.Gov. Submissions may be used for future Boston Parks and Recreation Department marketing purposes.
