This workshop will help you understand what employers look for in a resume. It covers the layout, content, and how the words you use can increase your chances of getting an interview.

This session will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the hiring process and what it means for job seekers, employers, and training providers. It'll begin with a brief overview of emerging trends in AI and workforce transformation from Ben Armstrong, Executive Director and Research Scientist at MIT’s Industrial Performance Center, where he co-leads the Work of the Future initiative. A panel discussion will follow, featuring voices from across the workforce ecosystem including representatives from Mass General Brigham, YUPRO Placement, and Per Scholas.

Topics will include:

• How AI and automation are being used in real-world recruitment.
• What digital competencies candidates now need just to apply.
• How workforce programs are responding and where collaboration is needed.

Once you know how to track your money, you never need to fall behind again. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

• Track your income and spending
• Prioritize your needs
• Eliminate wastes of money

Come gain new insights into this major work at 4 Yarmouth St, Boston followed by a reviting conversation between Sharon, her daughter Brigette and contempary multidisciplanary artist Rixy across the street at The South End Technology Center (359 Columbus Ave, Boston) Roxbury Community College near the Media Arts Building (1234 Columbus Ave).

A reception will follow where you as a community member can be interviewed and asked to share your story about the past, present and future of Roxbury.
