The Un-monument | Re-monument | De-monument: Transforming Boston Programming
Sharon Haggins-Dunn’s monumental mural Black Women is one of the original murals from Boston's black murals movement of the 1960’s and 70’s. Come gain new insights into this major work at 4 Yarmouth St, Boston followed by a reviting conversation between Sharon, her daughter Brigette and contempary multidisciplanary artist Rixy across the street at The South End Technology Center (359 Columbus Ave, Boston) Roxbury Community College near the Media Arts Building (1234 Columbus Ave).
A reception will follow where you as a community member can be interviewed and asked to share your story about the past, present and future of Roxbury.

A live, community event moderated by Boston Globe Ideas Editor Brian Bergstein, the event will feature conversations with historians and contributors to the recent special issue from Globe Ideas titled "The Revolution Lives On."
