Juneteenth is more than a date on the calendar. It’s a celebration of the freedom, resilience, and joy that our communities build together every single day.

Join us for Juneteenth Freedom Day 2026 on Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Franklin Park’s Shattuck Picnic Area.

This annual gathering brings together families, neighbors, community organizations, civic partners, and culture bearers from across Boston and the Commonwealth to honor Juneteenth and celebrate the ongoing work of Black freedom.

This day is all about heritage and real connection. We’re creating a space for everyone to feel like they belong, right in the heart of one of Boston’s most historic parks.

Fathers in Cannabis brings together dispensaries and cannabis professionals for a father-led basketball tournament centered on community, connection, wellness, and culture. This high-energy event will feature dispensary vs. dispensary team matchups, community engagement, music, networking, and cannabis education throughout the day.

Juneteenth Elevated brings Cannabis Empowerment Week into the community as we join the Juneteenth celebration with a cannabis education and engagement tent focused on awareness, conversation, equity, and the future of social consumption in Boston.

Bentopia: Juneteenth Edition is a community-centered cultural experience and public engagement opportunity taking place during BENTOPIA, the largest multicultural outdoor day party curated by B.ENT. This activation invites residents, consumers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders to engage with the City of Boston Cannabis Industry Development Team around cannabis education, equity, culture, and the evolving future of cannabis in Boston, while celebrating Juneteenth and partying at BENTOPIA.
